Ingredients
- 16 oz Mascarpone cheese (450g), cold
- 4 egg yolks
- 3/4 cup sugar (165g)
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream (360g)
- ~30 ladyfingers
- 1 1/2 cups strong black coffee
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder for dusting
Instructions
- Brew strong black coffee and let it cool.
- In a mixing bowl, combine mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth. In another bowl, whip heavy cream to stiff peaks.
- Gently fold whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
- Quickly dip ladyfingers in coffee and layer half at the bottom of a baking dish. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture on top.
- Repeat with remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone mixture.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
