  • 8 ounces penne pasta
  • 1 pound large shrimp (raw, deveined)
  • 1 pound top sirloin steak (cut into cubes)
  • ¼ cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 2 cups freshly grated parmesan cheese
  • Blackened seasoning (to taste)
  • Kosher salt and black pepper

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Toss shrimp with blackened seasoning; sear in a hot skillet with vegetable oil for 2-3 minutes per side until pink.
  3. In the same skillet, season steak with blackened seasoning; cook for 4-5 minutes until browned.
  4. Lower heat, add butter and sauté onions; then mix in garlic and cream. Stir in parmesan until melted.
  5. Combine pasta, shrimp, and steak with the sauce; mix well.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with chopped parsley.
