  • 1 1/2 lb chicken breast
  • 1 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1 1/2 tsp oregano
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp thyme
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 12 oz gluten-free farfalle pasta
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 tsp dry shallots
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp Gluten Free 1:1 Flour
  • 3 cups heavy cream
  • 12 oz shredded Parmesan
  • 1/4 cup pasta water
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

  1. Boil the gluten-free farfalle pasta in salted water until al dente.
  2. In a small bowl, mix paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  3. Season the chicken breasts with the spice mixture and pound slightly if needed.
  4. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat and sear the chicken for about five minutes on each side until golden brown.
  5. Reduce heat to medium-low, cover, and cook for an additional 10–12 minutes until fully cooked (internal temperature of 165°F).
  6. Remove the chicken and let it rest before slicing.
  7. In the same skillet, melt butter and add dry shallots, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning; simmer for one minute.
  8. Stir in gluten-free flour followed by chicken broth and heavy cream; whisk until smooth.
  9. Add shredded Parmesan cheese to the sauce until melted.
  10. Mix cooked pasta into the sauce; adjust thickness with reserved pasta water if necessary.
  11. Slice rested chicken and gently combine with the pasta before serving.
