Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup sugar (for topping)
  • 2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 2 (8 oz) packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sugar (for filling)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 (8 oz) cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon for the topping; set aside.
  3. Beat cream cheese until smooth; add sugar, egg, and vanilla until well combined.
  4. Spray a 9×13" baking pan with non-stick spray and sprinkle half of the cinnamon-sugar mixture on the bottom.
  5. Roll out one can of crescent dough into a sheet; press into the pan over the cinnamon sugar.
  6. Spread the cream cheese mixture evenly over the dough layer.
  7. Roll out the second can of dough and place it on top of the cream cheese layer.
  8. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar on top and bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
