  • ½ cup chopped cilantro
  • 2 carrots
  • 6 garlic cloves

  • hot paprika
  • coarse salt
  • cumin
  • turmeric
  • tomato paste

Instructions

  3. Stir in sweet paprika, salt, cumin, turmeric, and tomato paste; cook for an additional 2–3 minutes.
  4. Add half the cilantro and water; cover and simmer for 12–15 minutes.
  5. Season the salmon fillets with salt; arrange them in the pan with sauce covering them halfway.
  6. Cook on low heat for about 20–25 minutes, spooning sauce over the fish halfway through.
  7. Serve garnished with lemon slices.
