  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • Fresh parsley and thyme
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder. In a skillet, melt half the butter over medium-high heat and cook the chicken until golden brown on both sides. Let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic; sauté until fragrant. Stir in chicken broth, lemon juice, herbs, salt, and pepper, simmering for a few minutes.
  4. Add cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce before topping with sliced chicken.
  5. Serve warm with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
