- 6 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup half-and-half
- 1 cup long grain white rice
- Fresh thyme and rosemary
- 1 tsp kosher salt
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/4 tsp mustard powder
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 1/4 tsp chili flakes
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1 Tbsp hot sauce

Instructions
- In a bowl, season diced chicken with salt and spices.
- In a Dutch oven, melt butter over medium heat. Sauté onions, carrots, celery, and garlic until softened.
- Add seasoned chicken to the pot; cook until no longer pink.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture, stir well.
- Gradually add broth, half-and-half, soy sauce, hot sauce, and uncooked rice.
- Bring to a boil; reduce heat and simmer for 15–20 minutes until rice is cooked through.
