  • 20 Oreo cookies (230g)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 1/3 cups granulated sugar (266g)
  • 8 ounces bittersweet baking chocolate (227g, melted)
  • 10 tablespoons unsalted butter (at room temperature)
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups heavy cream (cold)

Instructions

  1. For the crust, crush Oreo cookies in a bowl and mix with melted butter. Press firmly into a 9-inch pie dish and chill.
  2. In another bowl, beat granulated sugar and eggs until thickened. Gradually add melted chocolate and vanilla; mix until smooth.
  3. Beat room temperature butter into the chocolate mixture until fluffy.
  4. Whip 1 1/3 cups heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form, then fold half into the chocolate mixture. Pour this filling into the chilled crust and refrigerate for at least four hours.
  5. Before serving, whip remaining heavy cream with powdered sugar and vanilla until stiff peaks form. Spread over the pie and garnish as desired.
