  • 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • ΒΌ cup honey
  • ΒΌ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ΒΌ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cooked rice or quinoa
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes; set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Brown the sausage for about 5 minutes; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes per side until pink; remove.
