  • 2/3 cup fresh orange juice
  • 1/3 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ginger (minced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • 2 tsp cornstarch
  • 4 tsp water
  • Optional garnishes: sesame seeds, red pepper flakes, chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by mixing cornstarch with water until smooth. In a small saucepan, combine all sauce ingredients, including the cornstarch mixture. Simmer on medium heat for 3-5 minutes until thickened.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  3. Line a baking sheet with oiled foil and place the salmon filets skin-side down. Baste half of the sauce over the salmon.
  4. Bake for 14 minutes or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork. Baste again with leftover sauce and broil for one minute for a golden finish.
