Ingredients
- 1 ½ tbsp butter
- 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
- ½ cup onion (chopped)
- 1 pound boneless rib-eye steak (sliced or chopped)
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 6 slices provolone cheese
- 12 egg roll wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a large pan over medium heat, melt half the butter. Add chopped bell pepper and onion; sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
- Remove veggies; melt remaining butter in the same pan. Add rib-eye steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until browned.
- Combine sautéed veggies with steak in the pan.
- On each egg roll wrapper, place half a slice of provolone cheese followed by 2-3 tablespoons of the filling. Fold and seal edges securely with water.
- Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat; fry rolls in batches until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
