Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ½ tbsp butter
  • 1 green bell pepper (chopped)
  • ½ cup onion (chopped)
  • 1 pound boneless rib-eye steak (sliced or chopped)
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a large pan over medium heat, melt half the butter. Add chopped bell pepper and onion; sauté for 3-4 minutes until softened.
  2. Remove veggies; melt remaining butter in the same pan. Add rib-eye steak, season with salt and pepper, and cook for another 3-4 minutes until browned.
  3. Combine sautéed veggies with steak in the pan.
  4. On each egg roll wrapper, place half a slice of provolone cheese followed by 2-3 tablespoons of the filling. Fold and seal edges securely with water.
  5. Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat; fry rolls in batches until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
  6. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with your favorite dipping sauces.
