Ingredients
- 2 heads cauliflower
- 1 teaspoon kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 1 teaspoon chopped parsley
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 500ºF (260ºC) and position the rack in the lower third.
- Remove the outer leaves from the cauliflower and trim their stems. Cut each head in half lengthwise and slice into 1 ½-inch thick steaks.
- In a small bowl, mix kosher salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Drizzle olive oil on both sides of each steak and sprinkle the seasoning mixture evenly.
- Place the steaks on a baking sheet covered tightly with aluminum foil, bake for 5 minutes, then remove foil and roast for another 10 minutes. Flip each piece and continue roasting until golden brown (about 6 to 8 minutes more).
