  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 teaspoons Tajin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 large ripe avocado (pitted and diced)
  • 1 large mango (diced)
  • 1/2 red bell pepper (diced small)
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped cilantro
  • 1/2 jalapeño (seeded and minced)
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice (about 1 lime)
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt (plus more to taste)

Instructions

  1. Marinate the salmon: In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, olive oil, maple syrup, lime juice, garlic, and spices. Add salmon filets and coat well. Cover and marinate for at least 20 minutes.
  2. Prepare mango salsa: Dice avocado and mango; mix with red bell pepper, cilantro, jalapeño, red onion, lime juice, and salt in a bowl. Adjust seasoning as desired.
  3. Grill the salmon: Preheat grill to medium-high heat (400–450°F). Grill salmon for about 4 minutes per side until flaky.
