  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 2 Large Eggs (room temperature)
  • 1 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 6 tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • Sea Salt Flakes (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ΒΊF and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In one bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat together eggs, sugar, vegetable oil, and vanilla until frothy.
  4. Melt chocolate chips and butter over medium heat until smooth; stir in cocoa powder.
  5. Combine the melted chocolate with the egg mixture; then add dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  6. Scoop dough onto baking sheets, spacing them about 1Β½ inches apart.
  7. Sprinkle sea salt on top of each cookie before baking for 8-10 minutes.
  8. Allow cooling on sheets for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
