Ingredients

  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1 onion (diced)
  • 8 oz wide egg noodles (cooked)
  • 2 cans (14 oz each) sauerkraut (drained)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cans (10.75 oz each) tomato soup
  • 2 cups shredded Swiss cheese
  • Salt, pepper, garlic powder, dried parsley to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, brown ground beef with diced onion, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Layer drained sauerkraut in the baking dish and sprinkle with brown sugar.
  4. Add cooked egg noodles followed by the browned beef mixture.
  5. Mix tomato soup with water; pour over layers.
  6. Top with shredded Swiss cheese.
  7. Bake for 30–45 minutes until bubbly.
