  • 2 cups Bob's Red Mill Unbleached White Organic All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Bob's Red Mill Organic Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 tablespoon chai spice blend
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • heavy cream

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a skillet until amber-colored and let it cool.
  2. In a stand mixer, beat together browned butter, both sugars, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  3. Mix dry ingredients: flour, oats, chai spice blend, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl.
  4. Gradually combine dry mix with wet ingredients; let the dough cool slightly.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Form dough into balls and flatten slightly on prepared sheets.
  7. Bake for 12–14 minutes until edges are golden; cool on racks.
