  • 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger, grated
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, combine shrimp, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Pulse until finely chopped.
  2. Transfer mixture to a bowl; add breadcrumbs, beaten egg, green onions. Mix until combined.
  3. Form the mixture into 1-inch balls and place on a baking sheet.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the balls until golden brown on all sides (about 3–4 minutes per side).
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve warm with dipping sauces.
