  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 28 Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (cubed)
  • 6 oz dark chocolate
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour (for brownie layer)
  • 1/4 cup cocoa powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350F (180C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan lined with parchment paper.
  2. For the cookie layer, cream together softened butter and sugars, then add eggs and vanilla. Mix in flour until combined; fold in chocolate chips.
  3. Spread the cookie mixture evenly in the prepared pan. Layer Oreos on top.
  4. For the brownie layer, melt butter and dark chocolate together, then stir in sugar and eggs. Add flour, cocoa powder, and salt; mix until combined.
  5. Pour brownie batter over Oreos and bake for about 50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
  6. Let cool before cutting into squares.
