- 1 box strawberry cake mix
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- ¼ cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 1 tablespoon milk
- Granulated sugar for rolling
- Hershey Kisses unwrapped
Make the Dough:
In a large bowl, whisk together the vegetable oil and eggs until smooth.
Gradually add in the flour and strawberry cake mix, mixing until combined.
Stir in the milk just until a dough forms.
Shape and Chill:
Using a #30 cookie scoop or about 2 tablespoons of dough per cookie, form dough into balls.
Roll each dough ball in granulated sugar to coat.
Cover and refrigerate the dough balls for at least 1 hour.
Bake:
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Line two cookie sheets with parchment paper.
Bake cookies one sheet at a time for 8–10 minutes, until set but not browned.
Keep remaining dough chilled between batches.
Add the Kisses:
Immediately after baking, gently press a Hershey Kiss into the center of each warm cookie.
Let the cookies cool completely on the baking sheet before transferring or storing.
Chilling the dough prevents spreading and keeps cookies soft and thick.
Mix it up with different Kiss flavors—white chocolate, dark chocolate, or Hugs are all great options.
